Proposal for Comprehensive Extended Service Warranty:


Objective:

FLCL intend and wish to provide hassle free Service support to their valuable customer with 1/4th cost of AMC in comparison with all other leading brand of AC in the market by introducing Extended Warranty Service for four years after completion of one year warranty from the date of Purchase with the same terms and condition and components coverage in AMC.

A. FLCL propose to cover Comprehensive Extended Service Warranty for the Period 5 years from the Date of Purchase
B. Rate of Comprehensive Extended Service Warranty offered to customer as follows
1. Window Air Conditioner 0.8 Ton to 2.0 Ton (RAC) - Rs. 1500/-
2. Split Air Conditioners    0.8 Ton to 2.0 Ton (RAC) - Rs. 2000/-
C. Customer will have to pay this amount directly in favour of FLCL and the same will be sent to FLCL HO Service Department to Register for Comprehensive Extended Service Warranty
D. FLCL will send Comprehensive Extended Service Warranty Certificate to customer directly by registered Post along with term and condition as follows

 

Terms & Conditions for extended warranty contract:-

1. This extended service warranty is offered to the customers who are residing within the municipal limits of the city/ town of company's authorized service centers. However customers residing outside the municipal limits of the city / town of our service centre can also opt for this contract, but  in that case Customer has to pay Traveling Cost of Service Engineer in actual and if required to bring the AC at service centre to and fro transportation expenses shall be borne by customer
2. All payments are to be made in advance along with the contract in favour of FLCL
3. The contract shall be valid for a period as mentioned in the contract form, or the FLCL Invoice, duly signed by FLCL representative.
4. Extended warranty will cover waiver of the visiting charges, or service charges for breakdown calls and repairs of following Functional components fails due to manufacturing defect.
  A. All Electrical Components         B. Heat Exchangers
5. Refrigerant charging (if required) will borne by the customer.
6. Plastic parts and sheet metal parts will not cover under Extended Service Warranty
7. The customer shall register the complaint at FLCL  call centers only. Any change of address must be notified by the customer in advance.
8. The company shall be under no obligation to provide repair / service because of improper use, unauthorized alteration, modification or substitution of any part or Sr. No. of the machine is altered, defaced or removed, abnormal voltage fluctuation, rat bite, neglect, acts of god like floods, lightening, earthquakes etc.. or causes other than ordinary use like environmental chemical reaction in Heat Exchangers.
9. All defective components shall be repaired/replaced with compatible working parts and defective parts shall be company's property.
10. While every effort shall be made to give preferential attention to emergency breakdown of the equipment, the company shall not be held responsible for any loss arising.
11. The equipment brought to the service center will remain there at customer risk and the company will not be responsible for any damages caused due to the factors beyond its control.
12. Transportation for taking appliance to the Authorized Service Center for repairs shall be borne by the customer as per the
applicable rates.
13. Damage to the product or any parts due to Transportation / Shifting is not covered under this contract.
14. This contract will not be valid for any item not supplied or certified from FLCL and covers the base configuration only shipped from FLCL Factory. Any Additions / Alterations to hardware will not form part of contract and will be chargeable to customer.
15. FLCL will repair / replace any defective parts and correct any problems resulting from workmanship free of charge. FLCL reserves the right to use reconditioned parts with performance parameters equal to those of new parts in connection with any services performed under FLCL limited warranty. Defective parts needs to be submitted to FLCL or Authorized Service Center and becomes property
of FLCL.
16. All disputes are subject to New Delhi Jurisdiction

* All Prices are exclusive of all taxes.
** Service tax will be charged as per the rates applicable, decided by the Govt. of India.
*** Labor Cost covers exemption of Labor charges only. Cost of spares, Gas charging & transportation will be charged as applicable.
**** The prices are applicable only for the products which are purchased within 5 years from the date of entering into the contract.
***** For Air-Conditioners period applicable is 5 years from date of purchase i.e. age should not exceed 5 years while under AMC contract
   
ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
  Terms & Conditions
   
1. This contract is offered to the customers who are residing within the municipal limits of the city/ town of company's authorized service centers. However customers residing outside the municipal limits of the city / town of our service centre can also opt for this contract, but in this case service will be undertaken only at the service centre and the customer will have to bring the set at his own expense to the service centre.
2. In case the service contract is to be entered into after the expiry of warranty period, the contract will be accepted subject to checking of the equipment by the company's representative and verifying that it is in working condition. In case set is found defective and any repair needs to be done, then it will be repaired first and then taken into contract and the cost (labor and parts) shall be borne by the customer.
3. All payments are to be made in advance along with the contract.
4. The contract shall be valid for a period as mentioned in the contract form duly signed by FLCL representative.
5. Labor AMC contract will cover only waiver of the visiting charges, or service charges for breakdown calls. The cost of any pat replacement or refrigerant charging (if required) will borne by the customer.
6. Acceptance / Renewal of contract after expiry of the contract shall be at the discretion of the company.
7. The customer shall register the complaint at FLCL call centers only. Any change of address must be notified by the customer in advance.
8. The company shall be under no obligation to provide repair / service because of improper use, unauthorized alteration, modification or substitution of any part or Sr. No. of the machine is altered, defaced or removed, abnormal voltage fluctuation, rat bite, neglect, acts of god like floods, lightening, earthquakes etc. Or causes other than ordinary use. If our services are required as a result of the causes stated above, such services shall be at extra charge.
9. All defective components shall be replaced with compatible working parts and defective parts shall be company's property.
10. While every effort shall be made to give preferential attention to emergency breakdown of the equipment, the company shall not be held responsible for any loss arising.
11. In case the customer wants to cancel the contract before the completion of the contract period, there shall be no refund of the charges for unexpired period.
12. The contract is not transferable in event of resale / gift to any other person and no refund shall be given.
13. The equipment brought to the service center will remain there at customer risk and the company will not be responsible for any damages caused due to the factors beyond its control.
14. Transportation for taking appliance to the Authorized Service Center for repairs shall be borne by the customer as per the applicable rates.
15. Damage to the product or any parts due to Transportation / Shifting is not covered under this contract.
16. The AMC shall cover the following parts under the AMC contract.
 
AC Products: Compressor, , Relay, OLP, Fan Motors, Timers, PCB, temperature sensors, Evaporators, Condensers, Capillary, Blowers, Fan Blade, Control box, Electrical switches, transformers (internal), Capacitors.
17. FLCL will repair / replace any defective parts and correct any problems resulting from workmanship free of charge. FLCL reserves the right to use reconditioned parts with performance parameters equal to those of new parts in connection with any services performed under FLCL limited warranty. Defective parts needs to be submitted to FLCL or Authorized Service Center and becomes property of FLCL.
